The Give Kids A Smile® (GKAS) program, launched nationally in 2003, is the ADA Foundation’s signature access to care program.
Each year approximately 5,000 dentists and 20,000 dental team volunteers at local GKAS events to provide free oral health education, screenings, and preventive and restorative treatment to approximately 300,000 underserved children.
Give Kids A Smile is celebrated annually, kicking off on the first Friday in February during National Children's Dental Health Month, with events and activities continuing throughout the year in communities across the U.S.
